This week on Wrestling Omakase it's time to talk some Pro Wrestling NOAH! John is joined by returning guest Skylar (@Twwitterdotcom) to break down NOAH's two big shows that opened the year, the January 4th New Sunrise show that went head-to-head with night 1 of Wrestle Kingdom 14 and the January 5th Reboot show that was their New Year Dash of sorts, both from Korakuen Hall. Hear John and Skylar break down every match from both shows including an instant classic for the GHC Heavyweight Title between Kaito Kiyomiya and Go Shiozaki, a much-praised junior title win for veteran Yoshinari Ogawa, a lot of RATEL'S action, appearances from international stars Michael Elgin, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr and more, and Japanese legends like Kazushi Sakuraba, Masaaki Mochizuki and Dick Togo making their presences felt as well. We also talk a bit of other wrestling as well, including Skylar's thoughts on modern New Japan/WK weekend, how John has come around on NJPW since 2018, a few AEW takes, a brief preview of next weekend's Royal Rumble extravaganza, and much more.
