WWE supersized their NXT developmental brand and punched down on AEW who gave a souped up Title Tuesday version of Dynamite due to the MLB playoffs.

The latest edition of WWE NXT garnered positive ratings, with 921,000 live viewers on the USA Network, up from the previous week's 857,000 viewers. The 18-49 demographic rating also increased from 0.22 to 0.30. Notably, WWE featured stars like Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Asuka, LA Knight, and The Undertaker on the show, resulting in the highest total viewership since September 25, 2019, and the best key demographic rating since October 2, 2019.

In contrast, AEW Dynamite experienced a drop in viewership, attracting 609,000 viewers compared to the previous week's 800,000. The 18-49 demographic rating also decreased from 0.28 to 0.26. This decline was expected due to the show's special Tuesday night episode, which was rescheduled because of MLB playoff coverage.
