Should WWE Cave and Cancel WrestleMania 36… Or Not? KOP looks into the pressure being created to cancel WrestleMania. Maybe It wouldn’t hurt?
Wrestlemania 36
WrestlingNews.co reports:

The World Health Organization has officially declared the coronavirus a worldwide pandemic.

This is obviously a huge concern for large scale events being held in cities across the country including WrestleMania 36. As of now, WWE still plans on running WrestleMania and surrounding events as scheduled but many wrestlers in the company are openly talking about the very real possibility that all WrestleMania weekend events will be postponed.

In regards to WrestleMania plans, WWE issued the following statement:

“The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay. We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like many other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.”

Officials from the city of Tampa will be meeting to discuss the possibility of canceling or postponing large events. The mayor said earlier today that WWE will have a chance to weigh in but ultimately, the city will make the final decision.

KOP discusses the ramifications and why WrestleMania could serve to be canceled for different reason aside of the pandemic.
