Moiraine heals a dying Tam. We speculate about Rand's possible past channeling. Rand learns disturbing hints about his fathers past. Lan notices Rand is carrying a heron marked blade. We talk about Rand getting the Brand on his Hand, and how good Lan is with a sword. "He (Tam) called it useless did he? He must not have always thought so." Moiraine tells Rand that he's out of options, and they have to run. We think about fades and the "Dark One's own luck" "Not until that very minute had he realized that Emond's field was as much a part of him as he was of it."
