If you love a good crime show or courtroom drama, you know that very often someone must go into witness protection. To save their life. To protect their family. To live long enough to testify. When Jesus asked the disciples who they thought he was – they identified him as the Messiah. As soon as they bore witness, he introduced God’s Witness Protection program. If you want to be my disciple, the only way to protect or save your life is to lose your life for the sake of the Gospel. Who’s ready?
