Today is recognized as All Saint's Day in the life of the church worldwide. We remember family members who have transitioned from life to eternal life this year, and we remember others who taught us the ways of Christ. As we celebrate the saints, we also celebrate our calling to be saints -- not a call to be perfect; but, a call to allow the power of Christ at work in us to position us to live lives of faith that make a difference in the world. In today's text, Daniel praises the God of his ancestors before doing great things. Let's follow his example.
