(WorldWide Entertainment TV) Spike Lee received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the heralded Toronto Black Film Festival. Lee has been an important figure in the advancement of cinema for people of African descent. 

Known for his work with legendary Hollywood stars such as Denzel Washington, Lee has compiled a long list of films that have inspired different generations for its thought provoking themes and impactful social commentary.

During his intimate sit down with Toronto Black Film Festival founder, he revealed his thoughts about Kobe Bryant and why he felt compelled to wear the Los Angeles Lakers colors to the Oscar in tribute to the NBA icon.

Spike Lee also divulges his demeanor during his introduction of Bong Joon-ho at the last Oscars event and a little insight into what he did in 2019 after winning his first statue at the prestigious event. Spike Lee also speaks at the Toronto Black Film Festival about the history of blackface.
