Professor Andrew Moran:


Is a Professor of International Relations and Politics, Head of Criminology, Sociology, Politics, and International Relations, at London Metropolitan University, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His teaching and research concentrate on International Relations, Security Studies, and the foreign policy, history, and politics of the United States of America. He has contributed to scholarly journals such as Presidential Studies Quarterly, White House Studies, Diplomacy and Statecraft, Political Studies, Party Politics, The Amicus Journal, and Democratization, and has appeared on BBC News 24, Sky News, CNN, and Bloomberg TV. He is also co-author of International Security Studies




Dr. Shahin Malik


Programs Manager and Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at London Metropolitan University. Shahin joined London Metropolitan University in 2000, having previously taught at Swansea University. He completed his Ph.D. at Birmingham University and since then his research and teaching interests have been in international relations theory and international security. He has numerous publications with the most recent one being a number of chapters in Peter Hough et al, International Security Studies, Routledge, 2021, and an Opinion Piece entitled “The Betrayal of Ukraine” in Fenicks Politik , 23 March 2022.




Dr. Bruce Pilbeam


Dr. Bruce Pilbeam is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at London Metropolitan University, where he is the course leader for the MA program in Peace, Conflict, and Diplomacy. He completed his Ph.D. at Sheffield University in comparative British and American conservative political thought. His main teaching and research interests are in the areas of Peace and Conflict Studies, Comparative Politics, and US Politics. His previous publications include Conservatism in Crisis? (Palgrave Macmillan 2003), and articles in journals including Political Studies and the Journal of Political Ideologies. He is also a co-author of International Security Studies, 2nd edn. (Routledge 2021) and World Politics, 3rd edn. (Sage 2023).
