Colonel (Ret) Chris Wyatt served 36 1/2 years in the U.S. Army, 34 on active duty, and 23 of those years overseas.  He was stationed in Europe for four tours, three in Germany and one in Italy.  In Africa, Colonel Wyatt served in Tunisia, Liberia, Botswana, Malawi, Niger, Mauritania, Uganda and Ethiopia.  He is a published author in academic and popular press on a variety of topics including defense, security, international politics and rugby.  A combat veteran, Chris has also participated in peacekeeping and development programs.  He speaks six languages, three of them African and is a strong advocate on African affairs.  Since retiring from the Army, Chris has established his own consultancy, The Indaba Africa Group, developed a following on social media and resumed his role as a radio personality.
