What do children with cancer want most? Apart from a cure, they long to just be a kid. On this episode of 'WorldAbout with Grace Farah', we meet Bernard Mauricia, Chief Executive Officer at Oncology and Kids (OAK), a San Diego based charity that provides free programs and services focused on increasing the emotional health of kids battling cancer. OAK also provides support to the siblings and parents of diagnosed kids, and offers many different programs, including their flagship program Camp Reach for the Sky, to give families a break from the stresses associated with the disease and allow the kids to just be kids.
