Mystic Artifacts - The Dreidel of Destiny

Hello listeners, and welcome back to another episode of World Forge! This week we are joined by my one and only sweet baby brother, Tommy! No links for him since he barely exists on the internet, but if you want me to pass him a note after class I'm happy to do that for you!
This week I'm sick so we have a slightly shorter episode, but we still have a ton of fun talking about the kinds of magical artifacts that can drive a story forward. The Holy Grail, the Sword of Green Destiny, The One Ring... these are the kinds of objects that inspire heroes and villains alike to seek out their power for good or ill. We discuss the implications of including items like this in your world, and come up with our own world altering magical items to match!
We also share a book written by a friend of the show Chad Retterath! Chad just published his first book: Notes on Monster Hunting, which is available here!
