In this week's 'Words Of Life' message, in lieu of eternity...

As Jesus prepared for His impending death, resurrection and ascension back to Father GOD, the disciples didn't easily accept this message. Thomas then spoke what others were probably thinking, "...we have no idea where You are going - let alone, know how to get there... why leave now?"

Jesus lovingly replied and gently conveyed to them the need for His departure to usher in the sanctifying work of Holy Spirit who could not come to them unless Jesus departed.

Jesus knew that their dependency on Him needed to shift as He symbolically conveys (paraphrased), "I will not hinder the spiritual growth, wisdom and power that you must be endued with to accomplish the work ahead of you - I will not be a 'roadblock' to the deeper intimacy with Father GOD, via Holy Spirit, that you now need."

Message Challenge: Is there anyone or anything in our lives that can be identified as 'roadblocks' hindering a daily, intimate, power-infused relationship with GOD?
