INVITATIONS

Invitation.

A request for one to join, participate or take part in an activity or festivity, with the French acronym - R.S.V.P. (Repondez sil vous plait = please reply) - requested as the desired response. 

As James writes a letter to Christians scattered abroad, he reminds them of what genuine faith looks like and redirects them due to their behaviors and choices (now) mimicking their surroundings instead of JESUS who called them.

In essence, James encouraged them to eschew their (worldly) wisdom to desire the wisdom of GOD which would help them make better choices to partner with their faith. 

Times may have changed but people have not.
