An ancient and evil entity is wreaking havoc on the children of Derry, Maine as it takes the form of their worst fears, but one group of losers have come together to put an end to its reign of terror once and for all. Joe invites his mother, Jennifer Kohler, back to the show to discuss Stephen King’s classic horror novel along with the two adaptations to film so far. They talk about summer jobs, cuts and changes made during adaptation, pulling punches, the King expanded universe, Italian guilt, bad parents, natural leaders, marrying your father, fighting with faith, responsible treatment of homosexuals and characters of color, lifesaving impersonations, lost love, movie ratings, and the joys of asexual reproduction.
