In the beginning, Man believed the Earth was at the center of the universe with the sun and stars spinning around it and of course flat as a frisbee. These beliefs have survived to this day as a growing sub-culture of people still believe the Earth is flat and motionless with a small sun circling just 3000 miles overhead and a massive conspiracy from every country on the planet to cover it up. Joe invites John Stahl back to the show to discuss the flat Earth, various fonts, questioning your senses, religious roots, insignificant specks of dust clung to bigger specks of dust, Sagan’s blue marble, laws of inertia, “experiments,” hypotheses vs. theories vs. laws, the history of flat earth, relative observations, eclipse theories, perverted aliens, rocket science, lesser known Sir Isaac Newton quotes, the veiled pole, and heretical math.
