Joe welcomes Basem (Turtle Power Pod) back to the show to geek out about Andrew Garfield’s “cool” take on the character, real web shooters, Oscrop’s exposition tours, cringe-worthy jokes, tesla coils, the ultimates universe, Zimmer’s score, the interesting ways the movie utilizes spidey’s powers, Basem’s secret greyhound recipe, the appropriate amount of guilt, not telling your son he has a genetic degenerative disease, the perfection that is the death of Gwen Stacy scene, emotional resonance, the pun always being intended, the minimum wage in 1961, and AILFs.
