Loosely based on Richard Connell’s 1924 short story “The Most Dangerous Game,” Surviving the Game is about Jack Mason, a homeless man who is recruited by a wealthy hunter to assist him and his friends on their hunting expedition in a remote wilderness. Little does Mason know that the men plan to hunt him for sport.

Joe is joined by Raymond Gardner to talk about the film’s adaptation from Connell’s story and how themes of honor and toxicity permeate in a story that has resonated with audiences for nearly 100 years.
