#39: Patch 5.2 Story Discussion

Our missing host is back and our spoiler hiatus is over. Come listen to us chat about 5.2 and be extra salty about various things, including sick children.

Our missing host is back (... oh boy) and our 2-3 week spoiler hiatus is over, which means we’re going to chomp into that gooey 5.2 candy bar! Before we do that, though, there is a somewhat extended airing of grievances. We each have something to grumble about, from freestyle tanks to orchestrion madness and on. After the ritual spreading of salt we move on to the actual intended topic of the episode: the new story details! We all enjoyed this chapter of post-Shadowbringers quite a lot, and we get into the fun juxtaposition between what the story reveals to the player versus the player’s character, whether the Viis are Scottish or Czechoslovakian, and how to pronounce the Crystal Exarch’s name (it’s “Cris-tal Ex-arc”). We made the episode extra long for all of you under quarantine so settle in and enjoy!
