Travel nursing is an incredible career that enables you to both help others and get to see new places. But just like any job or form of travel, there are always aspects that can get over-romanticized, and travel nursing is no exception. Em Cheng, a travel nurse currently exploring the West Coast, joins this episode to share some of the practical aspects of becoming a travel nurse and why she loves it so much, as well as address some of the biggest challenges associated with taking on this fast-paced career. For Em, being successful and well-balanced in her traveling line of work comes down to self care, which is hard for all of us-- even nurses.
