The embodiment of gratitude is connecting to the emotion of appreciation and the sensations in the body. With embodied gratitude we are teaching our cells and nervous system to embrace love, acceptance and reverence for all of our memories and shift out of fear/flight-freeze-fight mode. Through mindful acceptance and appreciation we train the brain to associate memories of gratitude even the challenging ones which have essentially transformed us into who we are today. Embodied gratitude is not just about aspects of attitude of thankfulness, it can create shifts within your health, your DNA, your brain function, your energy, and relationships.
