Kanwal Bhatia - Images are numbers! From medical imaging to sports analytics

In this week’s episode, Karen is joined by Kanwal Bhatia, Machine Learning Specialist and Entrepreneur at Antler. After more than 10 years of experience in medical imaging analytics, Kanwal decided to start her own business, MetaLynx, transferring her knowledge to analysing sports videos. In this episode, Karen and Kanwal discuss how data science and machine learning are used in medical imaging, as well as the challenges Kanwal faced in the healthcare industry. They will then discuss Kanwal’s experience of starting a data science business, the challenges around finding a co-founder, especially from the point of view of someone who used to have low confidence.
