Succeeding in business isn’t just about the service or product you provide. It’s about the kind of woman you are. Are you someone that can G.S.D? Today, I’m talking about the 5 habits of successful women you HAVE to cultivate.

As women, saying no doesn’t come easy to us. But, and let me repeat this loudly for everyone in the back, “NO” is a complete sentence. If an opportunity, meeting, or piece of work doesn’t feel like a big ol’ yes to you, you need to protect yourself and just say no. It doesn’t make you a bitch, it doesn’t make you a bad businesswoman, and it definitely doesn’t make you a bad person. So start practicing saying no to what doesn’t serve you!

Hands up who tends to procrastinate? It could be over the easiest task, maybe not finding the right words, or over something you really just hate doing. I’m here to tell you that you need to break up with procrastination. Successful women don’t procrastinate. And if you find yourself procrastinating over some work that doesn’t fulfill you, I’ll let you into a little secret: outsource it.

You also need to protect yourself in order to avoid burnout. Are you doing too much all the time and feeling no joy in it? That’s not okay, girl! Take a step back and practice some of that self-care we’re all talking about right now. It’s vital for our mental health which, of course, impacts the health and success of our business.

Mistakes happen to literally everyone. Own yours, learn from them, and then move the hell on. You won’t succeed if you’re trapped reliving your worst mistakes, trust me! Finally, you need to stop focusing on putting out the fires as they pop up instead of focusing on preventing them from ever happening!

What are you procrastinating on right now? And what are you going to do to change it? Let me know in the comments on the episode page!
