On Dec. 30, 19 year old Christian Hall was shot dead by police in the middle of a mental health crisis. Instead of receiving help, he was needlessly murdered. Christian’s death has sparked major conversations about Asian Americans’ relationship to the police and police brutality.
We interview Nicole Henriquez, the cousin of Christian Hall and organizer with Justice for Christian Hall. Joining the show is also Tina Ngo organizer from the Philadelphia Liberation center as well as Bao Ngo, Vietnamese artist/cultural worker based in New York.
