Why Not More Women's Power In Politics

Women's suffrage was 100 yeqrs qgo. WHY ONLY ABOUT 70 WOMEN IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND ONLY ABOUT 20 IN THE SENATE? Are there just not enough women in politics? Do women have an inherent inclination to vote against their own best self interest? I'm especially interested in why so many female voters didn't support Hillary Clinton for President. I believe that until more of us are willing to stand up for equal rights and equal pay, women will continue to UNDERVALUE THEMSELVES.
