My friends in North Dakota folk duo [Project: Constellation](http://www.facebook.com/projectconstellation/) aren't technically a local band, but they have a very strong Winnipeg connection in singer-guitarist Santiago Silva, a veteran of the local music scene.

Now operating out of the States, Santiago and bandmate Christina Rosebrough (violin/vocals) were in town for a gig at New Club St. B, and we sat down before their set for a quick chat.

We talk about their hectic touring schedule, the differences between music scenes in Winnipeg and Grand Forks, their debut EP, [Our Oasis](http://projectconstellation.bandcamp.com/releases), and much more.

Project: Constellation will be back for a few more local shows in the near future, so keep your ears glued to this podcast and their social media for more info!

This episode is brought to you by our friends at [the Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/) and by [Demedash Effects](http://www.demedasheffects.com/), a local company that makes hand-made guitar effect pedals like the glorious T-120 Videotape Echo.
