...so for whatever reason, everyone is releasing new albums in April and May. In order to accommodate all of the great local bands who have been getting in touch to talk about their new releases, we've had to do some unconventional interviews, including this one, with Hearing Trees bassist Seamus Hamilton-Pattison. It's a conversation from a coffee shop inside a bookstore. Hearing Trees will be releasing their new three-song EP, Puppets, on April 12 at The Park Theatre. We talk about the EP (recorded live off the floor in a Winnipeg cocktail bar), Seamus' other band (Greek Riots, who announced their pending break-up shortly after we recorded the interview), punk rock, and a lot more.
