In this episode Tucker Center director Dr. Nicole LaVoi talks to the founder and first director of the Tucker Center, Dr. Mary Jo Kane who explains the original story of the Tucker Center.  They also discusses her seminal piece of research known as the "sport as continuum" paper. We also hear how the sport continuum theory may be applied to the current topic of, and debate surrounding, inclusion of transgender athletes.
