A short bonus episode for y'all today after encountering a siege of Great Blue Herons on my trail run today. It's unusual to see more than one heron, as they're solitary, territorial individuals. I saw a group of about 20 on the far side of the lake when I made an unusual-for-me stop to look around that probably wasn't a coincidence.
