Steve Grzanich has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute.

Boston-based Nexamp, the largest community solar energy provider in the country, has selected Chicago as the site of its second national headquarters. It’ll bring more clean energy jobs to the state. Nexamp plans to invest $2 billion in existing and future solar projects in the state. It’ll also partner with City Colleges of Chicago to develop a fellowship program to create an employment pipeline for students interested in careers in the solar industry. Nexamp has 80 employees in Chicago and plans to add another 50 positions over the next two years.
