Steve Grzanich has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute.

A developer has secured more than $500 million in construction financing for the two-tower development at the site of the former Chicago Spire project. Developer Related Midwest says the first phase of the project will include a 72-story, 635-unit apartment building at 400 N. Lake Shore Drive along with a a park and pedestrian path connecting the Chicago Riverwalk to the lakefront. Completion of phase one will likely happen in spring 2027. A second tower will be built after that.
