Wine & Real Estate with Amy and Nigel Brooke | Episode 154

Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of real estate investing with Amy and Nigel Brook, a dynamic duo on a mission to revitalize small towns through their innovative BRRRR strategy. BRRRR stands for Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat—an investment approach that has allowed the Brook family to achieve remarkable success in communities often overlooked by big investors.

Amy Brooke acquired her first house at the age of 19 in the UK. She eventually met Nigel, the pair got married, and over time, they engaged in buying and selling numerous properties, eventually relocating to Canada in 2012.

Their investment journey began in January 2021, during which they purchased six properties within six months and a total of seven within ten months. They utilized their Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) and private mortgages to secure financing. Through renovations and the implementation of the BRRR method, they transformed properties multiplexes - adding units to increase the value. Currently, they are in the process of converting a duplex into a fourplex. Amy works as a Finance consultant (CPA), while Nigel specializes in managing distribution center operations. Their future objective involves investing in industrial and warehousing properties.
