She completed the Conservatory Program at Second City Improv Hollywood, served as a Film Festival Judge for the Asheville Film Festival, and represented the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising as a Speaker Representative. Notably, Kita has passionately advocated for maternal health care, drawing from her personal experience with Severe Pre-Eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome during pregnancy. As a long-standing Screen Actors Guild member, Kita has been involved in the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Theatrical Motion Picture Nominating Committee and volunteers for the Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Dress For Success.
