A Yarn with Nick Mullins

In Episode 8 of Wind Yer Neck In we host sports broadcaster Nick Mullins. Nick has a history of working in many different sports and we get to discuss some of those events in great detail. Which of them make the hairs on his neck stand up when he recalls them and which are 'flashbulb' moments. We also delve into journalism and how we perceive the current transformation that journalism is going through and the positives and negatives that come with that. Nick is now the main man on the BT sport Rugby team and along with a handful of top pundits spends a lot of his time travelling and preparing to commentate on Premiership, European and International rugby. We chat about what it is exactly he gets up to and how he makes sure he is best prepared to make the experience is enjoyable for the listeners. We also get a sneak peak at the ins and outs of what its like to do his job from a technological perspective which was particularly enjoyable and insightful!
