Dear Wilshire,

On behalf of Gaston Oaks Baptist Church and the Gaston Christian Center I want you to know of our heartfelt appreciation of Wilshire’s years of support and encouragement of what has happened here. 

Dr. George Mason, who was my pastor at the time, assured me of Wilshire’s support from the beginning. You provided the gifted assistance of Mark Wingfield from day one. You have since provided excellent board members for the Gaston Christian Center. You provided the beloved Dr. Bill O’Brien as our first executive director. LeAnn and Jeff Hampton and Barbara Floyd have been invaluable in their fields of expertise. Judy and Collin Yarbrough are hoping to get Full Circle Bakery up and running again in our kitchen. Heather Mustain and the Missions Committee have been a consistently solid support system. 

To top it all off, the Wilshire Winds recently led a celebration worship service as part of our anniversary celebration.
