Mimi Young is a Taiwanese Canadian, and a shamanic intuitive and founder of CEREMONIE, an esoteric brand that offers shamanic and occultic education, distance readings, and plant potions for skin + aura. Mimi works with a blend of modalities including core shamanism, plant spirit healing, ancestral wisdom, dream work, chaos magick, and other Chinese esoterics and divination practises to access the Unseen, while remaining embedded in Nature in a Goddess honouring way. This multi-disciplinary practice can be summed up as Wu or Wuism. Wu (巫) cannot be fully translated from Mandarin to English, as it’s far beyond how the West understands witchcraft, magick or spirit travel. In Wu practises, all the modalities Mimi practices is part of the wholeness of being a magickal being devoted to the Craft. Mimi is also a neurofeedback practitioner (@openmindsperformance), where she supports others in accessing their peak via neurological resilience. It's this intersection of ancient and frontier that she finds most relevant and effective for expanding and healing.

Though psychic her whole life, Mimi entered into this work “by accident” while on bedrest for 5+ months during her pregnancy with her second child. Having an alinear background in design, education, and clean tech, she sees her background as a way to relate, to be curious together, and to live our most aligned selves in a sacred, collective web.
