A text edition of our Sunday Sermon: unfortunately we weren't able to capture the audio just yet, but you can still see this sermon in the context of the worship service it comes from on YouTube at this link.  The texts come from Luke 19:28-44, from the New International Version of the Bible.  Dive In discussion questions are still below for further reflection! DIVE IN QUESTIONS

1. What stands out to you from hearing these verses?  Is God offering an invitation or a challenge to you through those words?  Take time to pray about it.

2. What is the paradox that the pastors have talked about today and last week?  How does Luke talk about this paradox that’s different from John & Isaiah?

3. What is the promise of Peace that Jesus brings?  What does his peace look like and how is it different from what people might have expected?  Do you find Jesus’ work of peace easy to see and believe, or hard?  Why?

4. What are three elements of “having the eyes to see”?  What are some of the stories that teach these different elements from the Bible?

5. How might you practice “seeing” Jesus and his work of peace and healing today and throughout the week to come?
