We’re taking the journey through Platform 9 3/4 and revisiting the first two installments of Harry Potter, more affectionately known as The Columbus Years: 2001’s The Sorcerer’s Stone and 2002’s The Chamber of Secrets!

Special guest Ryan Chollet joins us as we detail our relationship with the Potter books and movies (including Courtney’s suspicious avoidance of Potter growing up…); we wonder why a school for children is constantly life-threatening and debate the DILF-status of Arthur Weasley; and we discuss the difficulties of adapting these books into movies—resulting in odd pacing and bland cinematography, yet successfully establishing the world and a cinematic foundation for one of the most popular film franchises of the last 25 years.
