Often when a particular asset class has seen a large price appreciation, investors get FOMO. However such FOMO can lead to poor investment decisions as the asset valuations are usually at their peak when FOMO kicks in. Any small issue in the asset can lead to huge correction as investors expecting best-case scenarios, start to panic sell.
