Area health systems “strongly recommend” patients begin masking again at hospitals and clinics around Hampton Roads. Sentara, Bon Secours, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters issued a joint statement asking patients and visitors to mask.
The announcement comes on the heels of an uptick across the state in viruses like flu, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
