Where the fun is, there are the Dropkick Murphys! Since 1996 they're rockin the shit out of irish and celtic folk and nothing seems to stop them - good for us! With there new single "Smash Shit Up" they dropped a brand new single with an unusual cover on the b-side: "The Bonnie" by scottish songwriter Gerry Cinammon. We talked to guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and former fan of the band Tim Brennan about plans for a new album, discovering the punk rock in irish folk and being lucky to know that many traditional instruments.
