Episode 10 - Nicola Kemp - Overcoming Overwhelm

My guest today is Nicola Kemp, the Managing Editor of BITE at Creative Brief, she is also a speaker, connector and a keen advocate for diversity.
In this episode we talk about overcoming overwhelm, corporate gaslighting and the need for more transparency and discussion around pay.
Nicky is such an incredible champion of others, referencing so many men and women throughout this episode, from Ali Hanan at Creative Equals, the women at Bloom, Sarah Jenkins at Grey and many more... all in addition to her Who's Next nomination too.
I was so excited about interviewing Nicky and loved recording our discussion earlier in the summer(note the references of Cannes and sunshine!). I actually saw and chatted to her at an event of Helen Tupper (Who's Next guest from episode 8) and Sarah Ellis for their 100th Squiggly Careers podcast Live recording and it was a great reminder that it's time to get Nicky's episode out there!
One of my favourites snippets of advice she gave was to be kinder to yourself - something we all need to hear sometimes!
