In today’s episode Figen Murray shares “How I Found Forgiveness For My Son's Killer”. On May 22, 2017, an Islamic extremist suicide bomber entered the Manchester arena in England and killed 22 people. Figen’s son Martyn was attending the concert and was one of the people tragically killed. Since that time, she has refused to be a victim, and made it her mission to change safety at public venues creating Martyn’s law. A policy designed to protect people at public venues.

After her son’s murder she received criticism when she publicly forgave the suicide bomber that killed her son. She now spends her days travelling around the world teaching on radicalization, and how we should lead with love not hate. This is an incredibly special episode, and you will hear her compassion, forgiveness, resilience and determination to make a change in how venues think about safety.
