The second choice is Dave's, who has chosen 1984's crime thriller Blood Simple.

Written and directed by the brothers Joel and Ethan Cohen and starring John Getz, Dan Hedaya, M. Emmet Walsh, and in her screen debut, 4 time Academy Award winner Frances McDormand, this genre bending film was the Cohen brothers first feature. It's sweaty, and it's gritty.

Apologies for the slight audio problems toward the end of the episode. Our soundman has been fired and buried alive in a field in the middle of Texas, never to be seen again.....?
