I have been privileged to reside, uninvited on the traditional homeland of the Lekwungen speaking (Esquimalt & Songhees),Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia'new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. I express my profound gratitude for their welcome and tolerance as I work to dismantle my colonial, patriarchal, and racist cultural biases.
