Each stand alone episode tells the story, some true some fictional, of Caribbean migrants to England. It doesn't say the years but it goes from late 50's, 60's to 80's. There's this one episode, "Lovers Rock" that took me (Whitebeard) way back to the Jamaican house parties I went to in my teens. Man! I could smell the sweat through the screen.
