In this week’s special show, no whisky will touch our lips, oh no… because in this episode we welcome Dr Nicholas Morgan to talk about his new book which he has released in partnership with The Whisky Exchange, “Everything You Need To Know About Whisky (But Are Too Afraid To Ask)”. Together with Nicholas we discuss this informative and entertaining book, his career, some of his views on the current state of the whisky industry and much much more. Nicholas Morgan is a whisky specialist and historian with more than thirty years of experience working in the drinks industry. Working at United Distillers from 1990 to 2020 (which became Diageo in 1997) building their archive, as well as going on to market their huge range of Single Malt Whiskies.Nicholas has also gathered a collection of awards and honours over the years, including the IWSC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Scotch Whisky in 2017, and being inducted into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame in 2018.
