Stephen joins us for another SEWE spotlight this year with his special friend, a White Faced Owl from Sub-Saharan Africa, from the Center for Birds of Prey
Topics Discussed: Stephen introduces his friend, a White Faced Owl. White Faced Owls are a relative of the eastern screetch owl, which is the smallest owl in South Carolina. Though small in size, White Faced Owls are no doubt predators. Insight into how his ears and work and the body language the owl presents in these social situations. Insight into how various specieis of birds choose to stay with the same mate year after year and other. Affects of lead ammunition on both game birds and birds of prey and the ways lead toxicity makes it's way into Eagles and other bids.
