Join the Whiskey Bench for the final (for the time being) episode of the Ukraine series. In this episode the Bench dives into proxy wars, corruption, and foreign meddling that all adds further context to the Ukraine conversation. Stephen and Kat jump back in time (again) and run through the long history of the United States and Russia fighting proxy wars, insane things the C.I.A are responsible for, and unpack the corruption and scandal surrounding US officials' dealing inside Ukraine.
Short Fuse
2 oz gold tequila
1/2 apricot brandy
1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 oz syrup from maraschino cherries
Shake the liquid with ice. Strain into ice filled highball, and garnish with a wedge of lime.
