#55 Pleasant Demise + Fascism

Join the Whiskey Bench for another episode in our political ideology series. This week the Bench discusses Fascism. This is a very important episode for Stephen and Kat. The word Fascist seem to be thrown around carelessly, but this isn't something new.  The roots of fascism are convoluted to say the least, and the tendency to label everything you disagree with as such is something Orwell acknowledged back in the 1940's. Grab a drink, and listen in.

Pleasant Demise
1 1/2 oz London dry gin
1/2 oz pear liqueur
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 (spiced) grenadine
4 dashes peychaud's bitters
Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake shake shake. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a sprig of thyme (if you have it)
