Jean Spangler was a young single mother working as a bit part actress in Hollywood in the 1940s. She was a devoted mother so it was a surprise to everyone when she suddenly vanished one day after leaving home, supposedly to go to work. What could have happened to her? Many theories have been put forward, from her disappearance being connected to the mob, the same murderer as who had killed The Black Dahlia and even one of Hollywood's most legendary movie stars was put forward as being connected to her disappearance.
